19th MOON is the brain-child of Tigre Fisher, Singer-Songwriter. Born in America, raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She has being in countless bands, worked on various amazing projects & demoed other people’s work. She had the privilege of being cast as the featured Singer “ Siren” with Cirque Berzerk, a Los Angeles based Circus which she did beautifully for 2 years, 2008 & 2009. At the end of her contract. She headed to New York, where she became the Lead Singer for the electronica band Moody Mammoth but the nagging in her spirit kept pushing.
She has been migrating from place to place trying to figure out what her heart is searching for. One morning in 2011, she packed up, brought a bus ticket and headed to Austin, TX., where she knew no-one. She needed to silence the world. She took a little paying job, rented a room with no outside influences, no internet, no radio, no television etc. and for the first 3 months, she did nothing but take the bus to this job, ate, jogged and meditated.
In this quiet storm and in the mystical darkness of 4:30am wake-up calls, 19th Moon was born, she erupted from the ashes and when the dust cleared, she knew. She started creating colorful textures to support these spiritual explosions. She has released 3 small EP's so far. Which you can find on ITUNES. She released her current EP "REGENT" on soundcloud. 19th Moon is a wonderful attempt to invite all types of musicians to play, so at any given show the experience is personal, A show might comprise of just vocals, electronics and guitar, the next show might include guests artists, piano, guitar, cello and drums. You see a unique show every time. Her influences range from Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, U2, Amy Winehouse, Portishead, Radiohead, Ella Fitzgerald, Michael Bublè. just to name a few.
Currently, she is residing in Italy where the journey continues. Tomorrow is yet to be written.
